Allowed to Feel
Acrylic and Ink on canvas
12 x 12 in
framed in natural maple wood
There’s a softness in this piece, but make no mistake—it is not delicate. It is powerful in its honesty. Allowed to Feel is a quiet permission slip to feel it all: the heaviness and the hope, the ache and the joy.
Strokes of ink move with fluid grace—purples, rusts, ochre, black—each a breath, a wave, a truth that doesn't need to be explained. The white space holds room for what hasn’t been said yet. For the things we carry without words.
This isn’t a painting that demands.
It offers.
And in that offering, we are reminded: our feelings are not too much.
Questions to ask yourself while looking at my artwork.
Is there one color that speaks the loudest?
Why do the colors moves the way they does?
Why do certain colors intersect each other or move together?
